Patricia Wendorf Obituary
August 24, 1936 - February 18, 2017
Salem - Pat Wendorf age 80, passed away peacefully in Green Valley, AZ at their winter home. She was born in Braham, MN to Dan and Mattie Knowles and was the youngest of three children.
After graduating from Braham High School, she moved to Minneapolis to begin her career at Honeywell. While working there she met Duane Wendorf. He was on leave from the Marines. They were married after his discharge on Dec. 17, 1958. They moved to Salem, OR in 1964 to be closer to family. In 1970 they moved with their two children to Eugene where she enjoyed camping, motorcycling, and snowmobiling. She also liked to spend time at their log cabin in Lapine, OR that the entire family built together in the 70's. They spent six years in Fairbanks, AK in the 80's where they owned a garage door company and a second hand store. They returned to Salem, OR in 1988 and opened an RV storage facility they still own and operate while splitting time in Green Valley, AZ.
She is survived by her husband Duane, her daughter Rhonda and husband Rick, along with her son Bruce and wife Paula. Her grandkids include: Kayla and husband Trevor, Hannah, Elin and great grandson Deklin.
A celebration of life will be held at the Salem Eagles on March 5th at 5 pm. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

She was my Mother in law 17 years but always family still. We planned to get together the week after she passed as we always did when they were in town. I spent a week with Duane and Pat in AZ,a special memory. I miss her so much as she was my Mom too. Duane,Kayla and Rhonda will always be family. I miss you Pat!

I really liked your mom Rhonda.She always treated me nicely.I always envied how she sewed some of the most popular outfits for you, and your family did some of the coolest things together.I really appreciated all of you including me in church functions and activities. Thank you.Your mother will be missed, I'm very sure.Take care ♡♡
