Randall Bultena Obituary

Randall Deen Bultena

April 10, 1991 - July 29, 2012

SALEM - Randy went home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior on Sunday afternoon. He went peacefully into his loving arms.

Randy will always be remembered for his love for his family, friends, life and music. He was kind, loving, and caring. He was very protective of his family and friends. Making sure they were all ok. Never wanting them to worry about anything.

Randy enjoyed life to the fullest. He graduated from West Salem High School with the Class of 2009. He enjoyed playing his guitar, playing baseball and basketball. He was able to attend the 2010 Rose Bowl to cheer on the Oregon Ducks. GO DUCKS! His favorite pro team is the 49ers. He thinks this might be their year! GO 49ers!

He went to the Crossroads Music Festival held in Chicago in June of 2010 and was able to see musical legends that he admired. In August of 2010 his Make A Wish was granted and he had the privilege of meeting the band Rush and attended their concert in Seattle, Washington. He really had a great time at both of these events.

Randy has a strong faith in God and would want everyone to have the same. He would want everyone to know that he was at peace with going to Heaven and will be waiting for all of us to arrive when our time comes.

Randy is survived by his parents Rick and Lenette Bultena. His beloved brother Robbie Bultena and his beloved sister Rachel Bultena. His girlfriend Jillian Keller, whom he loved dearly. His Grandmother, His Grandfather, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. As well as many friends.

Randy we love you, we will miss you but we know we will be seeing you again.

Remembrances and donations in Lieu of flowers can be made to Doernbecher Children's Hospital or Marion-Polk Food Share.

I never met Randy personally but I coached Robbie for one year at North Salem HS. It sounds like Randy had that same big heart and great outlook on life that I witnessed in Robbie! Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bultena family...

It's so hard to express the overwhelming sadness that encompassed me, the day I heard of our loss. If anyone deserved to overcome, it was Randy. He was so strong and inspirational. He was gracious, and loving. Even through everything - he was always worried about those around him and was always thanking everyone for their support.

I know that my grief is only selfish, because Randy is not grieving - but no parent should ever have to bury their child. Especially a child as special as he was and a parent as exceptional as you are, Lenette.

Knowing Randy, was a blessing for me. I am fortunate that I had the fortuity to befriend Randy, while he was still with us.

His essence will live on in all of the lives he touched.

Dear Bultena Family, I met Randy at West Salem High. He and my daughter, Rebecca Lewis, were good friends. I remember one time on facebook they compared belly scars. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray the Lord will keep you under his wing.
