SALEM - Sally Elizabeth Haskins was born in Salem, Oregon on July 14, 1954. Sally enriched the lives of everyone around her. She lived and died on her own terms. Sally reveled in laughter. Sally loved the holidays, parties and gatherings of all kinds.Sally will be greatly missed by the staff at Mt. Angel Training Center, where she worked for many years. Nina, Judy, and all the staff at Community Support Services were her friends as well as advocates. Sally loved and was loved by the entire Shaniko family. She will be fondly remembered by her housemates, Kim, Rosario, and Jessica, as well as her special “girlfriends,” Chrystal, Sherry and Shari.Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Walt and Hazel and by her sister, Rose. Sally will be missed by her surviving siblings and their spouses, Wally & Judy, Don & Becky, Dorothy, Rich & Debbie,  and Bob & Barb. She is also survived by their “brat kids,” her nieces and nephews, Patrick, Kari, Hillary, Kelsey, Ashley, Mariah, Jacob, Joel, Emily, and Isaac, who loved her very much. There will be a celebration of Sally Bear’s life at her home at 1 p.m., Sat., Feb. 18, 2006.
