I remember the summer of 1965 when I moved to Stayton. One of the first people I met was Steve Tipton and his pal Steve Jordan. We had many fun times throughout the year and Steve T was one of the funniest guys I've ever met. Ask any Stayton Alumni who were at the Coop the night that Barney Fife's (CS is what we called him)police car got surrounded. God Bless him and all of his family!
