Thomas Cowdrey Obituary

Thomas Neal Cowdrey

December 23, 1960 - April 5, 2014

The world has lost a beautiful soul and a wonderful man. Tom was born in Albany, Oregon and worked in the restaurant business all of his life. Among his passions were his birds, dogs and love of cooking. He spent his last precious years as a chef for the Salem Eagles. He was known and loved for his infectious laugh and beautiful smile. He was surrounded by his friends and family as he passed. Tom is survived by the love of his life, "his girl," Sherie Reynolds; his four lovely godsons, Tyler, Nicholas, Buddy & Mathew Lewis; niece Kathy England; nephew Rick; and sister Marylin; also many young people who thought of him as a father, including Kelsey Everett and Jayman Schaecher, who were dear to him.

A celebration of Tom will be held on May 9th at the Salem Eagles Club at 6 p.m. We'll miss you, Talls!
