William Fawk

SALEM - Born October 10, 1920 in Rickreall, Ore. to Seth and Janie Fawk, he was raised on a poultry farm. His love was for music and he became a teacher of the organ and piano. After he married Florence  Elsassar on March 1, 1942, they made a home in Salem, Oregon.He spent many years teaching and touring Europe with some of his young prodigies; some of whom also went on to careers in music. He is survived by his only son, Roger of Dallas, Ore.; granddaughters, Melissa of McMinnville, Ore. and Bree of Dallas, Ore. He is also survived by his sister, Maxine Freeman of Springfield, Ore.; niece Eleanor McCauley; and nephew, Doug McKay. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., February 5, at Barrick Funeral Home. No services will be held. Private interment at City View Cemetery. Arrangements are by Barrick Funeral Home, Salem.
