WILLIAM "BILL" CHARLES Pulliam, 62, a resident of Salem died Friday, May 9, 2014. He was born on September 4, 1951 in Ukiah, California the son of Charles Lawrence and Rosetta Caroline Kenyon Pulliam. Bill served his country during the Vietnam War and was discharged as a sergeant from the Air Force. On July 15, 1989, he married Ramona "Mona" Ruth Hunter in Salem, Oregon. He worked as a truck driver for the Tree Line Trucking Company until he was injured. He was a member of the American Legion and the Salem Chapter of the Redeemed Riders Christian motorcycle club. He enjoyed motorcycling riding, fishing, camping, and his Chihuahua "Rosie".
He is survived by his wife Mona, children Margaret Windholz, Nora Elizabeth Pulliam, Justin Daniel Pulliam along with five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a brother Jim Pulliam and step-brother Lee Rosser. He was preceded in death by his step-mother Lillian Pulliam and a brother Jerry Pulliam.
A celebration of life will be held sometime this summer. The Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center is caring for the family. To leave a message or memory for the family please go to www.dallastribute.com.

My deepest condolences to the family of Bill Pulliam. I went to school with him in Anderson Valley. He has gone home much too early. I know he will be greatly missed.
