After his military service, Leon continued to serve his country as a U.S. Postal Worker. Upon retiring from the USPS, he held several positions, including driving school buses and semi-trucks. Leon enjoyed his free time riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle for 'wind therapy', attending the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally several times.
