Cindy Lambert STATESVILLE Cindy Deanna Lambert 35, of 167 Congo Rd., Statesville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at Forsyth Select Specialty Hospital, after an extended illness. She was born Feb. 6, 1978, in Yadkin County, to David Eugene Lambert Sr. (Darlene) and Vicky Diana Reavis Hinson (Odell). She was a Homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her brother, Chris Lambert. In addition to her parents she is survived by one son, Jonathan D. Smith, of the home; one daughter, Diana M. Smith, of the home; three brothers, Kenny Lambert, of Statesville, David E. Lambert Jr., of Wilkesboro and Michael Hinson and wife, Jennifer, of Statesville; four sisters, Tammy L. Kale and husband, Andrew, of Statesville, Rhonda Barlas and husband, Rick, of Denton, Diane Menscer, of Stony Point and Michelle Miller and husband, Dennis, of Statesville; a number of nephews and nieces; and special friends, April Underwood, of Bethlehem, Mackenzie Morrison, of Statesville and Steven Gilbert, of Wilkesboro. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 30, at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Fred Shoemaker will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., this evening (Thursday, Aug. 29), at Chapman Funeral home.
