Jeffrey Fink Obituary

Jeffrey Allan Fink, 43, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009. He is survived by his parents, Robert L. and Linda Waugh Fink, of Statesville. He is also survived by his sister, Michelle Dalton (Paul), of Statesville; two nieces, Heather Lambert and Stephanie Lambert; and by a nephew, Christopher Lambert. Jeffrey lived life to the fullest and cherished every memory and loved everyone. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. Jeffrey's wish was to leave this world a hero and his wish came true. He donated his kidneys and liver, giving three people he had never met another chance. He gave them the opportunity to live their lives fully and the chance to spend more time with their loved ones. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephew. He will truly be missed forever. Funeral services celebrating Jeffrey's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Home with the Rev. Bill Pharr officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Lynn Mitchell, Bill Reynolds, Bobby (Booger) Richardson, Todd Harkey, Clint Wood and George Poff. Christopher Morrison will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 Friday evening at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mem.com. Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home is serving the Fink family.

I just found out about Jeff yesterday, here it is a month after the fact. I went to see Uncle Bobby and Aunt Linda last night to let them know that I was unaware of what happened. Uncle Bobby is the sweetest man ever and I have alwsys held a special place in my heart for him. Linda is just as sweet and my heart goes out to the both of them for their loss. Michelle, I am so sorry about Jeff and I hope you know that I would have been there had I known. If there is anything I can do your mom and dad know how to get ahold of me. I also want to how sorry I am for your daughter and what she is having to go through, poor thing. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. My heart truly breaks for you all.

jeff,

dude its hard to belive that ur gone!!its really crazy.i remimber tha last time i was with you,you me and chris we went to midway on halloween and camped out and had a great time it was cool...i remimber when we watched that panther and steeler game and we made a bet on that game and of course steelers won 2....i know we really never hung out but u was a awesome person to hang out with and you seemed very open and caring and you will truly be missed ...RIP
