I met Danny through ihs sister, Becky, when we were in high school and neighbors. He was the friendliest kid ever and was always so nice to everyone!! He loved to hang out with us in the neighborhood and even though he was the "little brother" we never minded becuase he was such a joy to have around!! He has touched the lives of everyone he came into contact with and he will be greatly missed...forever...

As hard as this is, I find comfort knowing that we were granted 33 years that we may never have had. My brother cheated death in 1979, mauled by a grizzly bear, which almost took his life when he was 2 years old. He walked away from THAT! I am thankful that we got to watch him grow up, get married and have a family of his own. The Lord gave us that gift, but unfortunately at the expense of his health. His whole life he suffered. Countless surgeries, heart attacks and strokes. But he always smiled and was always happy! He was a small statue of a man, but he had a tremendous heart. There wasn't a person who he came in contact with that he didn't touch in some fashion. And like most siblings do, we always looked after him, attempted to "protect" him, keep him safe, and keep him HERE with us. And when Danny stopped fighting, even then, we didn't fail in that quest. My oldest brother Jimmie passed away a few months before Danny. Jimmie paved the road for Danny; he cleared the passage and brought him home. I will miss them both!
