I only knew James very briefly, when I “replaced” him in a band that he was in in St. Augustine right before he left for Juilliard. A sweeter person could not be found, no matter how long or far you look. Generous with his knowledge and patience, immensely talented and a bright light to behold. Rest In Peace, James and Thank You.
