Dr. Green married my husband and I 30 years ago at Mandarin United Methodist Church in Jacksonville. He was an awesome Pastor and my fondest memories of him was his ability to remember our names! In such a large congregation he could meet you once and would remember your name forever!
Our prayers are with his family!

John was a true mentor for me in the ministry. My first appointment was at Mandarin UMC, and John gave me good consul but also lots of room to explore many aspects of ministry. He remained cool, kind, and humorous during the 3 1/2 yrs we worked together. It was a great start for me and I thank God for him!
