Michael Quintieri Obituary

Michael R. Quintieri, 53, passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 13, 2015. Michael was a resident of St. Augustine, where he spent the majority of his adult life loving his children, family and community. He was a loyal servant to our community and this country through the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office and the United States Marine Corps.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Patricia Quintieri.
Michael is survived by his children, Anthony Michael (Catherine) Quintieri, Nicole Quintieri (Arron) Thomas, Dominic Quintieri, Zachary Quintieri; the mother of his children, Kimberly Quintieri; his siblings, George (Annette) Quintieri, Laura Pesch and Thomas (Rebecca) Quintieri; his grandchildren, Paul, Ava, Caroline and Justice Luke; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Jennifer, Christine, Amanda and Matthew.
A visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at Craig Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, at Craig Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Sellers and Chaplin Kelly Kemp officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at P.O. BOX 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
"Semper Fi," "God Speed" and "It's all good."

8 years! We still can´t believe you´re gone! Bob and I reminisce about you all the time and compare stories of our antics...so many great ones! You would be so proud of your children and spoil your grands!
While I know you are in a better place, selfishly I wish you had more time here with us. Rest in peace friend..... you are missed!

Tom, Kim, Nicole, Anthony, Dominic, Zach and the rest of Mike's family. I am sorry for your loss and that I was not there. I lost my 2 best friends on Friday the 13th. I was out of town for my fathers' funeral. Mike became my best friend when I started in the jail in 1989. We referred to him as "Father Mike." He was the most honest and professional person I ever worked with. He stood firm by my side when others didnt, because as he said "It was the right thing to do." I trusted him with my life and he knew he could always count on me. Anthony, Dominic, Zach and Nicole, it wont be easy, just ask God to give you strength. I cant call my father or talk to Mike for advice anymore. They were my best friends that I most trusted. I understand and feel your loss. Just know he was proud of all of you and he is in a better place. May peace be with you now Mike. The 4 Horsemen.
