Milo M. Johnson passed away peacefully at his home in St. Augustine, June 21, 2007, with several of his loved ones at his side. He was 84 years old. He was born in Bemidji, Minn., to Carleton and Nable Johnson. Milo enlisted in the U.S. Navy in the early days of World War II and served until 1948. After leaving the Navy, he graduated from the University of Florida, became a CPA, and, after many years, retired from his partnership with the James & Harris Accounting firm in Jacksonville. He was a member of The Lions Club as well as The Florida Yacht Club.
He is survived by his loving and devoted companion Allie Pedersen; his daughter, Dolores Alderman; his brother, Carl Johnson; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Boulevard in Jacksonville on Monday, June 25, 2007, at 11 a.m.
Craig Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

My husband and children have a wonderful memory meeting Milo fir the afternoon at the beach house which I had been to before.. He was my mothers sister Tinys husband... he drank peppermint schnapps... what a sweetheart!
