Ralph J. Schwartz

Ralph Jacob Schwartz, 74, of St. Augustine, Fla., died Dec. 22, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Erie, Pa. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a master chief. He was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at Trinity Episcopal Church, the Rev. David Weidner, rector, and the Rev. Walter Saffran officiating. The family will receive friends at the church 10 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. He is survived by his daughters: Judy Gygi, Altamonte Springs, Fla., and Joyce Miller (John) Melbourne, Fla.; and grandchildren Paul, Kimberly and David Miller.
