Robert Burwell Obituary
Robert Bard Burwell, 69, of St. Augustine, Fla., passed away June 7, 2012, at his home. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. He owned and operated a Golf Course Pumping Systems business. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.Ê Bob was an avid golfer and loved coaching football.
Memorial services will be held 6:30 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Rev. Dr. Pat Turner-Sharpton, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ÊAmerican Diabetes Foundation, 8384 Baymeadows Road, Suite 10, Jacksonville, FL 32257, or American Heart Association, 5851 Old St Augustine Road, Jacksonville, FL 32207
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Burwell
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Burwell; daughters: Karen Bennett, Spotsylvania, Va., and Beth Ann Chillinsky, North Huntington, Pa.; son, Robert Burwell II, Frederick, Md.; stepsons, Scott and Todd Silvis, both of St. Augustine; brothers, Ward Burwell, Jeannett, P., and Kenneth Burwell;ÊÊDunsmurirla, Clid.; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Dear Naomi and Family:
I was deeply saddened by the passing of my good friend Bob. As you know we had many years of friendship and always enjoyed our companionship. Unfortunately, because of my health I will not be able to attend his service. He will always be in my thoughts as long as I live. I hope to meet him again in the world to come.
