Roy T. Arzberger, 85, of St. Augustine, died Oct. 2, 2008, at Flagler Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had resided in St. Augustine for the past 25 years, moving here from North Babylon, N.Y. He worked in industrial scheduling for Northrop Grumman, retiring in 1984 after 24 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel of St. Johns Family Funeral Home, 385 State Road 207.
Flowers are gratefully declined, and those wishing may make a contribution in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 2850 Isabella Blvd., Suite 20, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris Arzberger of St. Augustine; four children, Roy T. Arzberger Jr. of Bethpage, N.Y., Russell Arzberger, of Bayshore, N.Y., Robin Lipp of North Babylon, N.Y., Michelle VanSicklin of Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
