Sonja Faye Skinner, 58, St. Augustine, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012.
She was a native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine and was retired from the State of Florida, where she worked as a public assistance specialist. Sonja was a loving mother, grandmother and caring friend to many. She will be greatly missed by both family and friends. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Memorial services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church with Barry Seals officiating.
She is survived three children, Gerald Lee Skinner, Theresa Kaye Skinner, Geoff Robert Skinner, all of St. Augustine; and grandchildren, Chelsea Faye Manucy, Shelby Leigh Manucy, Colby James Manucy and Hunter Lee Skinner.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
