Tamara Jones-Goode, age 57, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Capo Island Dr in St. Augustine, FL. on Saturday December 5th, 2020. She was survived by her husband Allen Goode, who is a Decorated War Veteran, her beloved son's Gunnar Piner & Gary Jones III, her daughter-in-law Molly Piner, her most precious grandchildren Dominique & Trinity Piner, and several nieces and nephews.
Tamara was a spirited woman who was always wanting to go on adventures and have a good time, no matter what it entailed. She was a strong-willed, independent woman who did not take any lip from anyone and was as loyal and dedicated as they come. Tamara was the kind of person that would give the shirt off her back or share her last meal. She loved helping people just like her own mom did, and it made her happy to know others were happy. Many people were graced with her kindness, whether it was a hot meal or shower, a set of clean clothes, a roof over their head, or a warm bed to sleep in. In her younger years, Tamara traveled the world, worked on cruise ships, worked in Real Estate as well as Insurance Companies, partied with celebrities, talked of her many adventures like no other, and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a lover of horses and beaches and spent a lot of her childhood years riding horses. Throughout her adult years, Tamara was incredibly involved with her AA group, as a recovering alcoholic herself. She organized meetings, planned events, gathered people together in celebration, and made sure she was there for people through their trying times. When it came to Tamara's children and grandchildren, she wanted to give them the world and nothing was too big or too small for them. Tamara was absolutely over the moon when it came to her grandson and granddaughter. She spent many hours with them singing and dancing, doing arts and crafts, and making unforgettable memories. Tamara will be greatly missed from all that loved her. Her family has decided to not have a public service in celebration of her life, so in lieu of flowers, please send your condolences to her husband and children independently. They have decided instead to carry out her wishes to be taken home to Wilmington, North Carolina to be with her beloved brother John Graydon Piner
