Taylor, you were the man! There wasn´t a girl in NYC that wasn´t smitten by your looks and charm! I heard you were in Florida, but couldn´t find you. So sad, I would´ve liked to have hooked up with you at least one more time and cause a little trouble like we used to! I still owe you for breaking my thumb in shop. Go in peace, my brother

Tay, we love you, bro. You were the best of people and when we first met in 1960 I knew it ~ another Florida native on the mean streets of big bad Noo Yawk ... Lord, how we detested the place but still made the best of it. Don't have to say RIP cos I know you're doing just that. In Heaven! ~Bruce)

Taylor was my boyfriend in ihigh school for the arts in Manhattan in 1967. I was the new kid from the suburbs & he knew everyone. Protected me from day one. He was best-looking guy in school, best lead singer/harmonica of any band in the city, best sense of humor, sweet as sugar. I loved his mother Carm, her apt was our sanctuary. We went separate ways as adults, me to LA, him to Fl. Been looking for him for years, but to no avail. He was my true friend, we were just kids, kissing for days but no further, so pure. I pray he had lots of love in his life, but knowing how people adored him I’m guessing he did. He really was my first love and he will have a place in my heart until it’s my turn to go. Rock on THD.

Taylor You were always kind, gentle, and so very cool. Whether music, sports, Benson, you demonstrated grace and class.
Rest In Peace, Hartog. Your legend burns brightly in the hearts and minds of all A-S alums who were privileged to cross your path.

I remember when we were little kids and first met as classmates in elementary school. Our parents became friends and you and I became fast friends for life. You didn't realize it but you were the best of our group of friends ~ always honest, kind and thoughtful; always there for friends who needed you. I remember learning to surf and skateboard together, to play in bands together and all the rest. Rest in peace, Taylor ~ you were one of the best!

How I loved you Taylor. I shall miss you. We always had a lot of fun when we went out, and although you left us whilst married you came back to us in St. Augustine. We always had fun at our cultural events and horse shows together. I shall miss you....Tutum Iter meus amor, mea angulus.
