The beautiful soul of Anna Sanders Etheridge left the bonds of this Earth on October 20, 2022, and went straight into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was loved by so many family and friends. Anna was born to Teresa and Tom Sanders on July 26, 1989. Her two older brothers, Matthew and Mark, loved their little sister and doted on her with the rest of the family. She loved her role as aunt to their children and her smile and antics entertained them at all Sanders family gatherings. Anna grew to be a beautiful woman and was blessed with the gift of creativity. She channeled her artistry into her studies and work in cosmetology. She also enjoyed expressing herself through music and painting. Anna loved to accompany herself on the guitar while singing. Many times, her audience was in church and she touched the hearts of many through her musical testimony. Anna's proudest accomplishment was in being the mother to her son, Jonah. She called him her "little man" and loved him beyond measure. Anna married her soulmate, Brandon Etheridge, in 2018 and together they enjoyed living in Shoal Creek Valley until his death in 2021. She leaves behind a legacy of strength in how she battled her earthly challenges and would hope to be an inspiration to others. Anna is survived by her son, Jonah; her parents, Tom R. and Teresa Sanders; her brother, Matthew (Joy); nieces, Maggie, Caroline, and Isabelle; nephew, JB; brother, Mark (Heather); nephew, Caden; and nieces, Caylee, Maddie, Naomi, and Sadie Kate. They will carry her memory with them forever until they are reunited with her in heaven. Services celebrating Anna's life were held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 3:30 pm at Greensport Baptist Church, 9305 Shoal Creek Road, Ashville, Alabama 35953 with Dr. Michael Mills officiating.
