TERRY COOPER Obituary

RIVERSIDE - Funeral service for Mr. Terry M. Cooper, 63, was Friday, September 7, 2012, 11 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City with Bro. Bill Ayres officiating. Mr. Cooper died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in Birmingham. Mr. Cooper was a native of South Carolina. He was employed for the past 29 years as Chief Mapper of the St. Clair County Commissioner's Office. He was an avid golfer and had a great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Cooper, of Myrtle Beach, SC. Survivors are his wife, Mary C. Cooper; sons, Travis (Beth) Cooper of Pell City, Eric M. Cooper of Hueytown; parents, Francis & Doris Cooper of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Curtis Cooper of Boiling Springs, SC; granddaughter, Poppy Cooper of Pell City, AL In lieu of flowers, Terry requested that donations may be made to the UAB Department of Medicine, Attn: Samika Williams, ILD Program, FOT 1225, 1530 3rd Avenue, South, Birmingham, Alabama 35294-3412, or to the UAB School of Medicine Development Office, FOT 1227 1530 3rd Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama 35294-3412. Condolences may be offered online at www.usreyfuneralhome.com Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City directed the service.

There is a hole in our hearts now that Terry has gone on to heaven....but I know he's smiling down on us,waiting for us to join him so he can crack more jokes. Mary, you and the rest of your family are in our prayers. We love you!
