Betty Frost Obituary
Betty J. Frost of Plover passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the age of 56. Betty was born January 10, 1959, in Bad Axe, MI, to Raymond and Bertha Messing. She attended Harbor Beach Community High School, graduating in the class of 1977. Betty was a devoted mother to her two children, Randy and Jim and had lived in various states including Michigan, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Virginia and New York, before finally settling in Wisconsin. In addition to being a stay at home mother and in-home daycare provider for many years, Betty worked at McDonalds in Plover and has most recently been employed at Lowes. She enjoyed cheering on her Michigan sports teams, playing cards and bingo, completing word finds and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her loving children, Randy (Lynn) Frost of Plover; and Jim (Sara) Frost and two grandchildren (Sawyer and Rohan Frost) of Stevens Point; and 10 siblings, John (Peggy) Messing of Harbor Beach, MI; Judy (Angus) Booms of Harbor Beach, MI; Donna (Leo) Emming of Ruth, MI; Florence (Richard) Wolschleger of Ruth, MI; Bernard (Pauline) Messing of Minden City, MI; Marie Gay of North Prince George, Virginia; Darlene (Florenzio) Ornelas of Beaverton, MI; George (Linda) Messing of Fresno, California; Ivan (Lori) Messing of Minden City, MI; Alvin Messing of Ruth, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Betty is preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2015, with burial services to follow in Michigan. A memorial fund has been established through Roseberry's Funeral Home & Crematory, PO Box 620, Friendship, WI 53934.

I worked with Betty at Lowes she was my favorite to work with, go out to lunch with and share our baked goods with. She was the sweetest lady ever, she is now our angel watching over us.

Randy,Jim and family I'm sorry to hear the sad news. ..Betty is a very special lady. we often spoke at Dunkin Donuts in Plover. We had good times at Mc D's in the old days.She is in God's home and in good company.

Betty will be missed by a lot of great friends and family. It was a pleasure to see your happy face every day that I worked with you at McDonald's. Our family always enjoyed the short visits at Lowe's or just out and about. Our prayers and thoughts are with the entire family. Betty is now celebrating a new life and we will one day see her again. I knew Betty when she worked at St. Bron's Parish, working at bingo, etc. She was always a very pleasant person and she got to know my mom, even raking her leaves in the fall with one of her sons. May she rest in peace and my sympathies to her family.

Betty was loving and caring woman, not to mention an amazing baker! I enjoyed spending time with her during family holidays and loved seeing the smile on her face when she spoke of her grandchildren. She will be missed deeply.

Betty was a second mom to me. I worked with her at lowes and always looked forward to the days when I got to spend time with her. I regret not getting back to stevens point to see her more but am so happy that I was blessed to know her. She always brightened everyone's day and never asked for anything in return. I will always remember that she had a bin of mints stashed under the register even though no food was allowed on the floor, and she always made an effort to stick a few in my apron so I always had something to "snack" on. Every time I hear "Black Betty" I will think of you. I will miss you Betty.
