Across the yards, we'd often talk about going up north to our cottages . Carl shared with me all the different things to do while in the Minocqua area. One of his absolute favorite things (which he shared with me more than once) was the snowshoe baseball games. The local ladies made and brought pies to sell...Carl loved to test the flavors. He said " I'd have a few beers early in the game and them go back for coffee and pie" and then with a laugh he'd say "at least twice!!" He was a hoot!!!! He will be missed...Prayers to Grace and the family.

We are so very sorry over Carl's sudden passing, and express our sincerest condolences to your family. Very sad, this news came as a dreadful shock. Carl liked to laugh, loved to share stories, and he always had a smile close at hand. He will be missed, as I considered him a friend. Carl and Grace made time to chat when they visited the cabin, often beeping as they drove by, and seeing their lights on through the trees was a welcome sight. May the Lord grant you hope, peace, and comfort during these difficult days.
