David Rutta Obituary
Stevens Point - David "Charlie" Rutta, age 68, of Stevens Point passed away suddenly, July 4,2019.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Charlie was born November 10,1950 to Florian and Bessie (Krasavage) Rutta.
He attended Stevens Point schools graduating from PJ Jacobs High School in 1969.
On January 20, 1990 he married JoAnn Skierka. Together they enjoyed a 39 year friendship that included 29 years of marriage.
Charlie was a kind, gentle and fun loving soul. He had quick wit and a great sense of humor. He loved nature, golf, and the Green Bay Packers.
Charlie is survived by his wife JoAnn, sister Patty Aho, nephew Andrew (Jessie) Aho, 3 sister-in-laws: Julie (Darryn) Belt, Mary (David) Kazmierczak, Barbara Skierka, 2 brother in laws: Rob Skierka and Bill Skierka, and 4 nephews: Drake Martens-Skierka, Anthony, Timothy and Jeff Skierka.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and sister Robin.

JoAnn and family my sincere condolences to the sudden loss of your husband David. I always enjoyed corresponding with him and learned about local histories when he was working at the Northside BP on Business U. S. 51 (Division St.) In Stevens Point WI. May God (Boze) rest his soul. I will remember him in my prayers.
