My deepest sympathy to all of you in the loss of your dad! What a kind man. Rosie, The city girl visits to your farm were so great, your family and dad were fun to be with. You all had to work together on the farm, I was blessed to learn from all of you. Praying for comfort. The good news is, we will meet again one day!

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Ed was a great father in law l for 22 years He was a great grandfather to all 4 of our children Melissa Michelle Mindy and Chridtopher. He was always helpful and caring He was all about working and getting things done and making things wonderful for his family. He was there for us, his son Gene and I so much when we were married, He never said no, he helped in any way he could. Even these last years when he lived across the street from myself and Jim he came and visited, we visited him , brought him a treat or some food. He always was ready to sit and visit. He so loved, when people came to visit. and always s had a story to tell. I will miss him. But I know he can and will unite with his so loved wife Virgina, and have the time together that was cut short on this world. And will always be watching down on all of us to make sure we are all okay, until our day comes to join him in heaven. Love you and will always keep you in my heart. A great man Ed Slattery

To Gene,
My heart goes out to you , to lose the only parent you had left, has to be one of the hardest things, But know that he is in heaven and has no pain anymore. He's smiling and will always be with all of us in our memories . And we have many many to think of. Bless you and your brothers and sisters. God will be with you as your grieve.

To my children Melissa, Michelle MIndy & Chris and grandchildren Corey Lily and Addy Know that your grandfather, great grandfather will still always be there in your heart, and the memories you have with him will never leave. Grandpa is at rest and peace with god. Love you all.
Love, MOM

To the Slattery Family,

I know that Ed is with you now in spirit as he and Virginia are now together. He was such an inspirational person who always did what was best for his family. Nothing and no one could ever get between him and his kids. He will be remembered always as a family man. May his memories live on in all of us.

To all of the Slattery family: With fond memories of Ed, we offer you our most heartfelt condolences. Ed was a true gentleman. Fun to be around and always full of information. Laughing with Ed was simply easy, with his amazing, sometimes a little sarcastic, sense of humor! We smile as we write this! An inspiration to many! We will miss him!
