I adored my teacher, James Moore. He was elegant and superbly effective in forming every nuance of ballet.
This gifted gentleman was royal, and his students embraced with great fortune under his tutelage of golden excellénce.

Dear Linda and Family - I just learned of Jim's passing. My deepest condolences. Jim was the consummate professional and one of the nicest people I have known. Always kind, always patient with the keenest of intellects. He was so wonderful to work with. I will always remember Jim and how he drew the very best out of all of us. -- Richard Gustin

My condolences to Jim's family. I danced with Jim at Marguerite Neumeister's studio in Rockford, Illinois during our teenage years. Marguerite clearly recognized his huge potential then and sponsored us both through lessons at her dance school and Stone Camryn Studio in Chicago. Many years later Marguerite, Jim and I met for lunch at Connie's Tea Room in Rockford and shared some wonderful memories. May his memory be eternal!

I note with great sorrow the passing of a friend, a colleague, and a mentor. James Moore made me realize that there was a world full of wonder, talent, and creativity, and that I had the "chops" to participate if I dared to do so. Jim is the primary reason I had the courage to move from Stevens Point, Wisconsin to New York City in 1983. For that I shall always be grateful.

My love and sincerest condolences to Linda, Eric, and Chris.
