James Ostrowski Obituary
Houston, TX - James "Jim" Ostrowski, was born on June 26, 1950, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and departed this life on July 27, 2018, in Houston at the age of 68 years.
Jim was the son of Al and Doris (Clark) Ostrowski. He graduated from Appleton High School, and Fox Valley Technical Institute in Wisconsin. Jim served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked in the hotel industry for many years, and was currently working at the Crowne Plaza Houston River Oaks Hotel as the Director of Food and Beverages. Jim was a avid golfer and sports fan, he will be greatly missed.
Jim was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include, his mother, Doris Ostrowski; son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Vicki Ostrowski; grandson, Jacob Ostrowski; siblings, Kathy Wendt, Robert Ostrowski, Donald Ostrowski, Mary Merfeld and husband Merrill, Joan Beutler, Jack Ostrowski and wife Barb, and Charlie Ostrowski; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial services will be held at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin, on Friday, October 19, 2018, at 11:00AM. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
