Lloyd Taylor Obituary
Lloyd Elmer Taylor, Jr., 61, Junction City, Passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee.
He was born July 24, 1953 in Waukegan, Ill., the son of Joan (Howells) Taylor, Wadsworth, Ill., and the late Lloyd Elmer Sr. Lloyd met and married Katherine Luedtke on March 24, 1990. She survives.
He was a truck driver all his life and worked at Ferrellgas for the last seven years. Lloyd was an avid outdoorsman who had a passion for fishing and hunting. His other passion, and proudest, was his horses.
Survivors, besides his loving wife, Kathy, and mother, Joan, include a son, Christopher Taylor, Portland, OR; a daughter, Dawn Rodriguez, Rockhill, SC; two grandsons, Seth and Bishop Rodriquez; five brothers, Gary (Nancy) Taylor, Richard (Tracy) Taylor, Greg (Mandy)Taylor, Brad Taylor, all of Wadsworth, Ill. and Michael (Indy) Taylor, Beach Park, Ill.; father and mother in-law, Roger and Janice Luedtke, Junction City; sister in-law, Julie (Eric) Fischer, Eau Claire, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Andrew Schmidt will officiate. Family will receive family and friends from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church. Beste Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I still to this day remember in a HS football game our sophomore year, Lloyd broke away from a designed play wedge for a few yards and ran it about 40 yards for a TD. Never seen someone run so fast with a football. I heard the news yesterday. My heart goes out to Lloyd's family. Take everyday of life as a true blessing. God Bless.

I got to know Lloyd well this last year as we spent time hanging out in the drivers room in Rapid River and Junction City while we loaded our propane trailers. What a great man he was! I enjoyed talking with him and I'm deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Thoughts and prayers to his wife Kathy and his children. He will be truly missed by many. May you rest in peace Lloyd.
