Michael Gershon Obituary
Stevens Point - Michael J. Gershon, 38, of Stevens Point, WI, formally of Sheboygan WI, & Itasca, IL & Chicago suburbs. Michael entered into eternal life suddenly on September 15, 2018. He was President & Co-founder of the Unity Oxford House in Stevens Point, Wi which helps so many people on their road to recovery. The loving son of the late Marjorie and Marcus Gershon, much loved grandson of Kathryn Gershon, the late Robert & Maryhelen Ross, and Edgar Gershon. Cherished brother & brother-in-law of Melissa & Gil Ortiz and Matthew & Kristen Gershon; proud uncle of Dakota, Jeremiah, Braden, & Emerson Ortiz, Shawn Belville, Payton, Kirby, Jadelyn, Anson, Douglas, & Arabelle Gershon; adored nephew of Marilyn & Don Hauserman, Betsy & Terry Schwebke, Barbara Bostrom, Sharon (Mike) Coulter, and the late Philip (Julie) Gershon. Very special cousin of Bridget (Nate) Krause, Brooke (Tim) Nyquist; dear cousin of Trina Bostrom, Ryan (Marina) Bostrom, Emily Eliason; as well as many other cousins & relatives; and an amazing friend to all who knew him. Mike will be remembered for his warmth, good humor, his sense of adventure, easy-going personality, the twinkle in his eyes and that incredible smile. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m., Celebration Church, 4701 Industrial Park Rd., Stevens Point, WI 54481 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's name to a charity of your choice.

This really hurts. It breaks my heart to know he's gone. He mentioned so much to do many. And he could always make me smile. Nothing anyone can say will make this any easier for his family. But I hope you all know how much her was loved and will be missed.
