Pamela Kitowski Obituary

Pamela J. Kitowski

Junction City - Pamela J. (Gordon) Kitowski of Junction City joined her angels in Heaven on Friday September 14, 2018 at her home with her husband and children at her side after fighting a short battle with cancer.

Pam was born March 11, 1952 raised in Niagara, WI. She was the daughter of the late Frances and Arlene (Rouse) Gordon. She moved to Stevens Point where she attended college and met her husband, Robert Kitowski. Robert and Pam were married October 15, 1977 in Stevens Point, WI.

She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, camping, reading, playing cards, watching the Packers, and anything that involved her family. Family was everything to Pam. Her favorite times were preparing the meals and planning the holidays for large family get togethers. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the pride of her life, watching them as often as she could and actively attending as many of their events as possible. The highlight of Pam's work life was her final years prior to retirement at Figi's Gifts.

Pam was also an avid Packer fan - probably one of the biggest fans you may know. She never missed watching a game and loved to decor her home with Packer memorabilia. Watching Pam cheer her team on was yet another cherished family memory.

Pam was a very strong, independent, outspoken, loving, and kind woman. She had a natural tendency to bring out the good in people. She always had a way to make everyone smile including one of her many famous sayings "Acka Backa!"

Pam is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert Kitowski, their three children: Nick Kitowski, Kelly Kitowski, Tony (Rhea) Kitowski, and two step-children, Kristy Oleson and Corey Kitowski. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Pam is further survived by her three siblings: Sandy (Jay) Goudreau, Denise Gordon, and Mark (Dorinda) Gordon.

Visitation will be held at Pisarski Funeral Home Stevens Point on Friday September 21st from 1:00-2:30 pm. At 2:30 pm a personalized service will take place in memory of Pam. Following the service a Celebration of Life will be held at Bob and Pam's house in Junction City. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the Kitowski family. I didn't know her extremely well but every time I saw her, she was a shining light and so welcoming. God has taken another great angel and she will be sorely missed by so many. Blessings to all and everyone that is pained right now will be in my prayers. Wish I could be there to pay my respects. Love, Holly (Mike's daughter)
