Scott Laszewski Obituary
Scott James Laszewski, 53, fell asleep in death at his home peacefully on the morning of October 15th. Scott was born to Norb & Elaine (Miller) Laszewski of Plover on August 11, 1960. He attended local schools and graduated from SPASH in 1978. He started working on the family farm at an early age. He enjoyed working on vehicles as a young man and quickly excelled in his ability to fix anything with an engine. In 1984 the family opened Laszewski & Sons, 19 Park Ridge Dr, in Steven Point. He took pride in his motto of always fixing his customers cars the same as he would take care of his mothers vehicle.
On May 17, 1979 he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and later served in many different capacities in the congregation through the years. He also volunteered regularly around the state building and remodeling Kingdom Halls. He loved being able to do this and made many friends around the state.
On April 26, 1986 he married the love of his life, Terri (McDonald). They raised 2 beautiful children together, Spencer and Sarah. He balanced his many responsibilities with taking care of his family and shared his love of boating and water and snow skiing with them.
In addition to his wife, children and parents, he is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Although Scott didn't have any fleshly siblings, he is also survived by 2 brothers in his heart: Bill Mandt and Mike Koller.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 18th at 3:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Stevens Point.

This is first/read of Scott passing away. We are sadden, as Scott was nice, pleasant man to do business with, as well Teri. We miss our visits when we stopped in point, or our bike maintained. We send our best to Teri and family.

In Memory of Scott...

Mike and I were long time customers of Laszewski auto care. Scott and family were always a welcome sight when the cars were in need of repair or maintenance. We also purchased three cars from Laszewski's and they were and still are reliable to this day. Scott always had a smile on his face in greeting, even when he wasn't feeling well. So personable and also generous with his valuable time. There was a day this past Summer when my husband was out of town and my car was in need of a new battery and Scott stopped in at work on his day off just to put a new battery in my car. It brings tears to my eyes just remembering it. We are very sorry for the loss of Scott and want to express this to the entire Laszewski family. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Scott. He really set a good example as a husband, son and a father to his children. He will be missed by friends and family alike. We look forward to welcoming him back in the resurrection.
