Thomas Rucki Obituary
Thomas Philip Rucki, Sr., 72, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at The House of Dove Health Center in Marshfield following a difficult illness.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Mary Sue (Kowalski) Rucki; his sons: Thomas (Cheryl) Rucki, Jr. and Timothy Rucki; his daughters: Brenda (Dave) Steward and Bonnie Rucki; as well as six grandchildren: Zachary, Theodore Rucki, Stefanie, Tyler Steward, and Jolene and Alexis Kinney.
Born and raised in Chicago Il., the son of Felix and Sophie (Korenkiewicz) Rucki, he was a lifelong resident of Plover, WI and retired to Bokeelia, FL for the past eight years.
After graduating from Newman Catholic High School in 1960, he met his wife, Mary Sue Kowalski, celebrated their 53rd year of marriage on June 30th. Thomas was employed as a truck driver. Mr. Rucki had a passion for hunting and fishing and enjoyed the last eight years in the Florida sunshine with his wife.
He was strong in his Catholic faith and was a life long parishioner of St. Bronslavia in Plover, WI. During his years in Bokeelia, Fl. he attended and volunteered Our Lady of Miraculous Medal.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Parkway) in Marshfield. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

To MarySue and family..We are so heartbroken at the loss of your dear husband. I remember with fondness, when I was little the fun I had with Tom and you buying me root beer floats and taking me to the drive in movies. God Bless
