March 12, 1972 - June 16, 2023
NAPA - Jennifer Christine Stiles, former Napa Valley resident, died June16, 2023 in Brentwood, TN, after a courageous five year battle of a rare form of cancer. It was her determined will and dedication to her children that allowed her to attend both her son's college graduation in Boulder, CO, and her daughter's high school graduation in Brentwood, TN. just last May.
Jennifer was born March 12, 1972, in Loma Linda, CA. to Thomas and Cheryl Stiles. They moved to Napa in 1973, and later lived in Yountville and Angwin. Jennifer attended Foothills Elementary School, PUC Preparatory School and graduated from Monterey Bay Academy in 1989. She received her BA degree from Pacific Union College and achieved her Masters and PsyD at the same time from Biola University, Rosemead School of Psychology.
An accomplished musician with a beautiful voice, Jennifer began singing in church at an early age and continued her musical life performing in choirs and as a soloist.
She lived in Loma Linda, CA. and Coeur d'Alene, ID, before moving to the Nashville area where she worked as a Clinical Psychologist.
Jennifer is survived by her son, Ethan Lickey; and daughter, Amelia Lickey of Brentwood, TN; her mother, Cheryl Stiles of Hayden, ID; her father, Dr. Thomas Stiles of Bend, OR; two brothers: Peter Stiles (Lisa) of Bend, OR, and Jonathan Stiles (Ann) of Westminster, CO; her aunt, Doreen Murphy of St. Helena; and three nephews, and one niece.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Jennifer's life on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 3:30 PM at the Scales Chapel, Pacific Union College in Angwin.
