James Bott Obituary

James V. Bott born May 20,1958 passed away June 20th quietly in the comfort of his home. Jim was always collecting antiques, gardening, foraging for mushrooms & asparagus. In earlier years he enjoyed hunting with Dad. His dog Olie was his most prized possession & the two were inseparable. Jim loved fishing, tied his own fly's & had several favorite fishing holes. He was an avid outdoorsman & never turned down a rafting trip. He canned pickles, made sauerkraut & amazing unique diabetic dishes he was proud to share with family. Us girls liked to keep him on his toes. Dee Bott was the love of his life & they spent many years together. He loved the location of his home & had family near by. He had help from a lot of family members, including nephew Kyle and Britney Wilcox who lived next door. Jim's neighbor & good friend Steve was always willing to plow his driveway, give a hand or just tell stories & have a good laugh. Jim had a lot of wonderful friends around Columbus. He is survived by Archie Bott (Dad), Beverly Zimmerman (sister), Linda (sister) & Todd Roller, Tammy (sister) & Frank Zwetzig & many nieces & nephews. He was preceded by Anne Bott (Mom), Dee Bott (wife), Lori Bott (sister), & Arron Wilcox (nephew). Soar high in the sky pain free Jim you'll be forever missed.
