I just heard about the passing of Floyd. He and Ardell were such good friends of Tom and I when they attended St Paul Lutheran Church in West Plains, Missouri. My prayers are for comfort and peace knowing that Floyd is at rest in the Heavenly are of our Savior Jesus Christ. May God bless Ardell and family.

Lisa and Stefano, we had hoped to attend the funeral, but we had a family conflict. We know that Lisa's dad was dearly loved by his family and friends, and we are sorry for your loss. We will make a donation to the ACDA Alice T. Larsen Scholarship Fund in memory of Floyd Wilkening.

Floyd's mother, Edna, and my dad, Floyd Froehling, were siblings. Due to distance I didn't get to see him often, but it was always an enjoyable time when we were together. Praise the Lord for his long life and I look forward to seeing him again in heaven with Jesus our Savior.

Dear Lisa, Stefano and family, We are sorry we will not be able to attend the service for your Father. We know he was a special man and you will have forever memories of your times together. A donation has been sent to the ACDA Alice T. Larsen Scholarship Fund in his memory. May it serve to support music educators of the future as he helped and encouraged you in your career. Hugs to all of you...Dione

Wilkening Extended Family,
Big loss, wonderful legacy, obit covered a lot of positive territory, all deserved. Glad to visit twice on phone in final days, always fun rapport to agree to disagree. 97 years set the highest bar to emulate. Old adage, he always chose the high road, never crowded, got a lot done up there. Rest in peace, but bet he's already busy in heaven.

Floyd was an amazing man. When my dad died, he stepped in to support me like I was one of his own. I will be forever grateful for the support and unconditional love he showed me throughout my life. I send prayers for peace for his family and friends.
