MAXINE HENRY Obituary

MAXINE HENRY 06/16/1942 - 09/13/2025 Maxine Henry of St. James passed away on September 13, 2025, at Ecumen Prairie Hill in St. Peter. Maxine was born on June 16, 1942, in Sleepy Eye to Roger and Margaret Sampson. She met the love her life, Bill Henry, in 1957 and they were married in Sleepy Eye in 1959. They lived in Godahl and then moved to St. James in 1979. In her free time, she loved to read, garden, doing crafts, putting puzzles together, and sitting in the screen porch with Bill. Maxine is survived by her daughters, Gail (Tom) Denney and Kathy (Greg) Erickson; grandchildren Christopher (Katie) Denney, and their children Grace, Maya and Colton; Timothy (Dawn) Denney; and Patrick Denney (special friend Leigha). She was preceded in death by her husband Bill; infant daughter, Julie; son, Randy; her parents, brother and sister. The family would like to thank the staff at Ecumen for all the care they gave Maxine the past three years.
