Aimee Bilyeu Obituary

It is with great sadness & in loving memory, that we announce the loss of our beloved, Aimée Marie Bilyeu, of Cedar Hill & St Louis, MO. Born November 8, 1970 and sadly left our world on July 21, 2024. The memory of Aimée will be a guiding star for all who knew her.

Loved and dearly missed, Aimée leaves a legacy through her dearly loved, Mike Mattingly, who affectionately, cared for her every need and never left her side for the last 4 1/2 months of her life, the loving mother of Amber Rader, Camille and Hunter Holtz (Brittany Ramsey), Dannielle DeRosa (Chris Schaefer), Russell DeRosa (Francine) and Michael Mattingly,Jr. (already in Heaven with her), the precious grandmother (MiMi) of Oliver, Gage, Kane, Nino and Fiona, the cherished daughter of Lorrie Bilyeu (Gary Foree) & David Bilyeu (deceased), the nurturing and loving sibling of Julie, Brad (Anna) & Rachael Bilyeu (Joey Powell), the loving stepsister of Steph, Gary, and Justin, the adored aunt of Shea, Landon, Blake, Charlie, Madelyn and Micah. Beloved sister in our hearts of Donna Rabbitt, Janice Kaminski (Michael), Russell Mattingly (Lynette), Douglas Mattingly in Heaven, and Diane Slattery (Jim in Heaven).

Aimée was a precious niece of, Mary Christine and Robert (deceased) Mahoney, Pamela Jensen, and Penny Crawford (Dan), a Godmother to Natalie Crawford, cousin and aunt to many, with countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity (we love you, Heidi Graser & Laura Lynne Dyer.)

A life so beautifully lived, deserves to be beautifully remembered with a celebration of life in honor of Aimée, presently being planned for this fall (details of date and venue to be announced).

We ask that you remember Aimée as she truly was, a medicine woman, nature lover, beekeeper, lover of horses, (actually of all animals) and fierce protector of those she loved. She lived each day with such grace, courage and humor that she inspired all who knew her to become better people leading better lives.

Sometimes it´s hard to understand
why things happen as they do
For so much joy and happiness
was centered around you
I seems so hard to comprehend that you're no longer here
But all the happy memories
will help to keep you near
You're thought of often, Aimee´,
with each mention of your name
Your absence cannot change a single thing
Our love will still remain

Forever in my heart,
