mr. and mrs. douglas

i too loved and remember angie and her sweet smile and lovely voice. when she would phone me and call me aunt kathy, i felt blessed. she always spoke of Jesus and therefore i know that she is in a better place. Heaven. thank you for obviously training your child to love Jesus and to accept Him as her saviour. you did a good job, just the one that you were called to do.

Dear Mr& Mrs Douglas, What do I say to you, there are no words to describe the sorrow and pain that you are going through. God has taken his very best. Angie will always be our daughter too. I feel her presence around me all the time and my heart hurts. Angie always put a smile on for the whole world to see and her smile lit up a room. She never complained about her health problems. I am so proud of her and what she accomplished in her short life. We are all blessed by having Angie in our lives. We always wanted to meet each other and now all I can say to you is how very much Angie was loved by us. You have given us your beautiful daughter's memory to cherish forever. May you be comforted by all of your memories of Angie.

To the Haldie family.

I was very saddened to hear about Angela. I was her VA Counselor. The last time I met with her she was cheery and enthusiastic. She will be missed.

Dear Douglas Family,

I was and am a good friend of Angie's. I met you Mrs. Douglas at the hospital, but with everything going on you probably don't remember me. I went to school with Angie at MSU. Angie was such a wonderful person with such a grace and elegance about her that she made you want to be a better person. It was an honor and a privilage to call her my friend. She worked so hard to graduate with us and still was able to encourage me when times got tough there at the end of school. I will never forget her and the good times we had at school. We are all so proud of her accomplisments and I want to thank you for raising such a beautiful daughter inside and out.

With Deepest Love and Sympathy,

Donna Bass

Dear Douglas family,

Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss of your beautiful daughter. Mrs. Douglas, I met you late last year while Angie was in the hospital in Wichita Falls. My name is Katie Savoie, I am the Secretary for the Social Work program at Midwestern State, which Angie so very recently graduated from. The social work program faculty, staff and students are deeply saddened and heartbroken over her passing. Angie's perseverance and determination to complete her degree was inspiring.Angie had a smile for everyone she passed, and a very warm, friendly disposition that put everyone at ease. In my prayers for your family, I also thank God that he allowed me to be a part of Angie’s brief life; that is a gift I will forever cherish. Love and prayers.
