I remember Ann from St. Roch's parish when we were young. She was several years older than me, but was always very nice. Then many years later she saw me at City Hall and recognized me and we became reacquainted. I have never met anyone who loved her job as much as Ann loved hers. She especially loved helping people do searches for relatives at the Recorder of Deeds office. About 6 months ago, by chance, we ended up at the same table at a trivia night, and we had so much fun together. I am so happy that we became reacqainted, but I am shocked and saddened to learn that she has passed away.

Ann was a strong and beautiful woman. She showed such dignity and grace as she battled her disease. I'm grateful that I saw her recently and we were able to talk. I will miss seeing her at City Hall.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ann's family. May your memories bring you peace and comfort as you celebrate a life well lived.
