Gene and I want to extend our sympathy to all the family of Arline and Bob. We became good friends and the "inlaws" after their daughter Joan married our son Bryan. We visited with them many times when together at Joan & Bryan' home. Arline loved her family and alway enjoyed talking about them and any new grandchildren. She will be missed by family and many friends. Arline was a kind and gentle spirit and enjoyed being around people. Shortly after Joan married our son, we invited Arline and Bob to meet us for dinner. As we were talking and enjoying being together, the waiter observed and asked us if we were good friends. We said we were the "inlaws" since their daughter married our son. He was amazed and said most inlaws he knew don't speak to each other. We did become good friends and will miss Arline. We send out sympathy to Bob and all the family. May God grant you peace and blessings during this difficult time.

Gene and I were very fond of Arline and she and Bob were frequent at their daughter Joan's and Bryan's home where we would visit with them and get caught up on the family and all the children and grandchildren. With their family of six children and many grandchildren, it was a little hard to keep up with who belonged to who and their names. But she always loved to talk about family who she loved dearly. Sometime after Joan and Bryan married, Gene and I invited Arline and Bob to join us for dinner and we enjoyed being with them. Our waiter at the restaurant observed we were good friends, so he inquired about the four of us. Gene mentioned that we were the "inlaws", and the waiter was surprised that we were together at dinner because he said "Most of the inlaws I know don't even speak to each together. But, of course, we did many times in the future. And what did we usually speak about? Arline and I talked about children and new grandchildren. Bob and Gene about city affairs and other local news, etc. We met so many times at Joan's home, we felt like they were part of our family too. I loved Arline very much and admired her calm spirit and kindness. I know she will be missed by all the family and many friends. We are thinking of you at this difficult time and pray God will grant each of you peace and blessings. Gene and Anita

Aunt Arline will always be remembered as such a sweet, kind person. She always had a smile on her face and seemed so happy to see you. Our family had so many good times spent with your family. All special memories.
Rest in peace Aunt Arline.
Until we meet again.
