We were parishoners at St. Peters Church when Father Bromschwig was pastor - God spoke with tenderness and wit through Father. My son nicknamed him "Sparky" because he was electric with his fervor, kindness and of course, his wonderful sense of humor -- Alleluia (his favorite word!!)
With much affection --

Amy and the kids

Father Art helped my little family 27 months ago when we lost Bruce unexpectedly at 49. He came to the hospital several times, he administered last rites and gave Bruce the most beautiful funeral service. The kids and I are so thankful to have known him. We know that Father Art's room was filled with angels and old friends waiting to greet him on Saturday morning, I know one of those waiting was Bruce. May God Bless you Father Art as much as he blessed us with you.

I will dearly miss Fr. Art. He was a most special priest and guided me on my journey with Christ. I can still see his smile and hear his voice speaking of his joy of being a priest. What a blessing we have received from the life of this good priest for God.

We will miss Fr. Art’s quick wit. A few months back on a doughnut Sunday my wife and I were sitting with two elderly women when Fr. Art came to greet us. One of the ladies had a chocolate “long-john” and the other had a vanilla one. Both readily offered theirs to Fr Art. Not wanting to hurt either’s feelings he politely said, “No thank you ladies, I’m going up to get a “holy” one.”
