Today is a special day. Dick my older brother and his wife Betty Jo would be celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary. They were both very instrumental in my life. I would spend summer vacations in St. Louis with them. It was such a grand adventure. There was so much to do and they were so happy to share these experiences with me.
I was so in awe of going the Municipal Opera and seeing the Broadway production of Camelot. I got to go to Busch Stadium and see the St. Louis Cardinals play. How wonderful that was! I bought my first pair of high heel shoes at Styx, Baier, and Fuller department store. A big event in a young girl's life. You see, Dick was 12 years older than I and Betty Jo was like a big sister to me. I cherish their guidance and the love that they have given me through the years.
Dick and I had many conversations about many things. I could always call on him for advice and he was always there. I will miss him very very much and thank him for his love and generosity of spirit.
I will miss you big brother! God bless you both . And thank you Carolyn and Linda for your kind support in this difficult time . Your dad was the best and I'm sorry for your loss. With love, Susan

Farwell brother Dick, "God be with ye." I think of you with heartfelt memories today, tomorrow, and always. All our years as brother and sister, growing up together in Dayton, Ohio, on Valleyview Drive. It was a special time, a wonderful beginning, to the beautiful life to come.
Sending my love and blessings to Betty Jo, Carolyn, Linda, and their families. The "Link" was an excellent connection for so many people. It was a huge success. There was a strong feeling of renewal and hope as so many came together.
All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.

Dick was my Nextdoor neighbor and a good friend back in the 50’s. Our internet in racing cars was important until we both were married and moved to different parts of the country. Still miss our times together. Condolences to his wife and family.

Dick was like family to my family. He and his wife were known as uncle and aunt to my children. Our friendship goes back to the late 1960s. Our families have kept in touch through the years. He was such a talented, special person who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. My sincere condolences to his family from my family.

There were so many times when I would meet Dick on the sidewalk with his little terrier and he would stop and chat a few minutes. What a wonderful gentleman he was. We will miss him on Isleview Dr.
