The last of the Jaguars is now at rest. First Mo (Kevin), then Dickie, then Randy and now Barry.
I picture them back together and playing once again with the band name Teg Deyal.

My name is Jampa "Mac" Stewart. I´ve known Barry since we were five; he was born just two days before me.
Later on when we were in junior high school, Barry and his family moved in directly across the street from me. I would hear him practicing electric guitar every day through his open bedroom window. He accompanied my family to our lake house in Maine in the summer, and we climbed Mt. Washington together in New Hampshire in our early teens. We were briefly in a band together right after high school. I dated his sister Juy briefly, as he did my sister Nancy.
Barry was the best man at my wedding.
We only saw each other occasionally after he moved to St. Louis, but we would speak with each other annually on the February 19th, the day between our two birthdays. It was just two weeks ago that we last spoke.
Barry was a true renaissance man, kind and generous, a bold and mult-talented being. He truly will marched to his own drummer.
Barry will surely be warmly remembered and missed, certainly by me.

My deepest condolences to Laura and the immediate family. I got to know Barry by sharing side by side rental work shop at the Lemp Brewery. His creative talents were magical. From hand painting and bringing fantasy characters to life, to playing his guitar and making music. We had many conversations, laughs, hanging at the dock talking shop. He was a kind and gentle soul who will be dearly missed by so many. I wish I would have popped in on him more after I had moved. May he now rest and forever be at peace.
