Benjamin John Rustemeyer

Rustemeyer, Benjamin John Ben passed away at home on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, with his beloved wife Amber and their family dog, Wicket, by his side. Ben was born on February 19, 1978, to his proud parents John E. Rustemeyer (Georgean) and Carol B. Rustemeyer. He is survived by them, along with a brother Nathan (Thaise), two nephews Matteus and Lucas, and his grandmother, Dorothy Apol. Besides his wife, other survivors include members of the Apol and Christy families, along with numerous friends and neighbors. A graduate of UMR with a Master's degree in Engineering, Ben was employed by Boeing. He was an avid ultra-runner, a lover of books, and a big fan of Elvis. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals, Star Wars movies, and all things retro. He was an Eagle Scout. Unfortunately, Ben lost the biggest race of his life when he succumbed to cancer, but only after a valiant fight.
