Donatt, Bette
born September 23, 1926, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the age of 97. She was the wife of the late Leo Donatt. She is survived by her son Mike Donatt and his wife Pam, her daughter Julie Rowen, her husband Mark and grandmother to their son Luke Rowen.
Born in St. Louis, Bette attended Shenandoah Elementary School and Roosevelt High School. She went on to become one of the first female aviation meteorologists working at St. Louis Lambert Airport. She was a much loved wife, mother and friend.
Services: Memorial Eucharist and interment at Christ Church Cathedral (13th and Locust) on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. with a reception at the cathedral immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Bette's memory to Christ Church Cathedral (Building Fund), 1210 Locust St., St. Louis, Mo.

Mike, I just saw this obituary. I´m sorry for your loss Please accept my sincere condolences I remember meeting your Mother at Edmonds 5 ? restaurant many years ago (before you were married!). She and I had quite the discussion about your "Irish bachelorhood". She was quite the hoot! I was with my Mother and your Mom and my Mom had quite the conversation about their sons´ "dilemma"!
