Brian Fox Obituary
Brian Christopher Fox was born December 20, 1974 in St. Louis, Missouri to Richard A. Fox and Ellen Meyer Fox. He left the worries of this world behind, as he passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle. He was just shy of his forty-ninth birthday.
Brian was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and followed the Catholic faith. Following his High School graduation, Brian joined the United States Army and proudly served for eight years. He served in Germany and was a highly decorated soldier. He served as a paramedic in the Army and enjoyed the brotherhood. Following his time in the service, he moved to Dawsonville, Georgia and made his home. He was a fire medic during his time there.
Brian then moved to Taney County, Missouri where he met Tiffany. They were married on December 14, 2016 and made their home in Gainesville, Missouri. In 2018 they relocated to Lebanon, Missouri. For the past several years, Brian has served on several volunteer fire departments.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Fox.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany, of Lebanon, Missouri; his sons, Jarod Fox and Mason Butts, both of Lebanon, Missouri; his daughters, Cassie Rychel and husband, Toby of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Madison Butts of The Philippines; his brothers, Ben Fox of St. Louis, Missouri and Paul Fox and wife, Lisa of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers-in-law, Dan Neill and his wife, Karen of Kansas City, Missouri, Dustin Neill of Hartville, Missouri and Brandon Goosey of Springfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, James, Lane and Timber and one on the way; his mother, Ellen F. Fox of St. Louis, Missouri and his mother and father-in-law, William D. and Peri Neill of Hartville, Missouri.
Brian had a larger than life personality and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved riding motorcycles and served as Road Captain of the Legion Riders. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Sunrise Beach and was a Masonic Lodge Master Mason.
He loved to fish and hunt in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks. Most of all, he loved being a grandpa to three precious grandchildren and looked forward to adding another grandchild soon. His life rotated around his family and friends and he looked forward to family gatherings and special occasions.
Brian had many friends and was a loved individual. He was a leader. He was respected and someone that many looked up to. He was always helping others and took part in events sponsored by the American Legion, an organization that he was so very fond of.
Brian's loss is deeply felt by his family, and he will be so missed. We know that he lives on in them, in their memories, in their love for each other, and in the wonderful memories he made with them.
Funeral services for Brian Fox will be Friday, December 8, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon, Missouri. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks will be at a later date.
