I was a young RN in the early 80s and I worked on 10100 Queeny Tower. I took care of Mr. Perkins dozens of nights and Mrs Perkins was often there. She was so devoted and so nice to our staff. Now they may rest in peace together.

Prayers for her soul and of her husband. Besides my parents, they were my greatest inspiration when I was young. Through them both I learned the beauty and value of all nature and wildlife. Thank you

Another great St. Louis icon gone from our earthly lives, but always in our hearts and memories. She is now at peace, and rejoined in spirit with her darling Marlin, who we all loved as much as Mrs. Perkins. Thank you to her family for sharing her and your father with all of us in St. Louis. His name and the St. Louis Zoo are synonymous as far as I'm concerned. Celebrate her life....and my God be with you as your heal from your loss.

What an enormous loss to St. Louis and the world Carol's death is. I have a lifetime of memories of her husband, Marlin, and meeting them at their home. It was a day to cherish.
