I lived off the food from the Mueller's farm for many years, even making most of my baby food their fields. I always enjoyed visiting w/ Caroline and Al when I would stop by. I'm sorry to hear of Caroline's passing.

Aunt Caroline will be missed by the entire family. I never had tomatoes that tasted as good as hers. No matter how hard I tried to grow them like she did they just weren't as sweet. I remember how she refused to eat raisins because they looked like cochroaches, and how she could pick out the best tasting veggies even though she wouldn't eat them herself. Aunt Caroline was one of a kind!

Caroline, you've taught me so much. I will always cherish the time we spent together in your kitchen, on your back stoop. I'll never forget the way you called your kitties to come back inside, or how you turned up your nose at the suggestion of eating vegetables (even though you grew them!), or how stubborn you were and didn't want any help getting in or out of my truck when we went to get ice cream on your birthday. I loved every one of your stories, no matter how many times I heard it! ;) Thank you for being of my role models.. I hope we can keep farming on your land for generations to come... you and Al created a legacy that I am honored to be a part of continuing.
Love
Molly

Caroline was a true no-nonsense original -- frank, funny, hard-working, intelligent, a great talker -- lover of animals -- rich with memories -- missing dear Al in her last years -- her laugh could have cleared a field all by itself. May the beautiful land she and Al loved and cared so much for be protected in her memory and feed and inspire new generations. We loved her very much.
